Designing the future of healthcare at Philips

As part of an innovation team at Philips, I research, design, prototype and test the future of healthcare. I explore how new and novel (UI) technologies (AR/VR, eye control, voice UI and AI) can play a role in enhancing the user experience of clinical staff and patients. Activities include:

 

• Observational studies, surveys and other means to understand the user's workflow.

• Facilitating  multi-disciplinary brainstorms and workshops.

• Design concepts and prototypes to translate solutions into tangible demonstrators.

• Validating concepts through usability testing with internal stakeholders and end-users.

• Collaborating with business units and other disciplines to go from innovation to market.

• Technology landscaping and patent writing.
